  • Plan for 3 months ahead while driving daily performance.
  • Develop the systems and processes that allow "managing by wire" on a daily basis.
  • Inspire, motivate, and build great teams that can run without them.
  • Communicate functionally and cross functionally.
  • Check their egos at the door before they come to work.
  • Think about ways to restructure the work to get products to market faster, improve employee productivity, and to serve the customer better.
